[S2E14] Wrath BEST
It's that "shortly after leaving Travis" bit where things start to fall apart for me. It was only last week that Chris went off on his own. After a couple episodes dealing with these Very Bad Dudes and slowly becoming a Very Bad Dude himself, he leaves and Travis finds Madison, and we think that maybe we'll see what happens with Chris. Maybe we'll see him become a flat-out bad guy. Or maybe down the road he'll redeem himself by helping our heroes out of a pinch, dying tragically in the process. Instead, Chris is killed and then his killers are killed and that's that. It's a great moment for Travis as a character, to become more scarred and more dangerous and ruthless all in this moment of tragedy and wrath; but it's disappointing is a narrative choice. It resolves a potentially interesting conflict immediately, without any mystery or wait whatsoever.
