Lego Worlds is a sandbox video game which allows players to build a world made up of Lego bricks.[1][2] The player is rewarded for collecting objects spread across the map with studs, an in-game currency. The player can build using the items they have encountered. Players can create their own world by using predefined Lego structures or using the "brick-by-brick editor tool". Players' appearances and outfits are customizable in the game. Terrain and environment can be modified via landscaping tools. A variety of vehicles, such as helicopters, and creatures are featured in the game. A multiplayer option and features for world-sharing have been added to the game through later updates.[3]
EXPLORE. DISCOVER. CREATE. TOGETHER. LEGO Worlds is an open environment of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Create anything you can imagine one brick at a time, or use large-scale landscaping tools to create vast mountain ranges and dot your world with tropical islands. Drop in prefabricated structures to build and customize any world to your liking. Explore using helicopters, dragons, motorbikes or even gorillas and unlock treasures that enhance your gameplay. Watch your creations come to life through characters and creatures that interact with you and each other in unexpected ways. In LEGO Worlds, anything is possible!
FIRST LEGO League Explore events provide an opportunity for teams to showcase their work, meet other teams, and celebrate. An event can be as simple as a meeting of a team, families, and friends to share what was learned during the season. Larger events offer teams an opportunity to share and learn from one another. Some teams are invited to showcase their work at the FIRST Championship, where teams from all over the world meet, share ideas, and have fun. Due to the non-competitive nature of FIRST LEGO League Explore, teams may attend more than one season event depending on the events scheduled in their area.
FIRST LEGO League Challenge teams prepare all season to compete at regional tournaments, where judges provide valuable feedback on their robot, code, and invention. The final test of their work comes at the Robot Game table, where they race against the clock for a personal best score and the chance to advance to a local championship. Some teams earn an invitation to FIRST Championship, where teams from all over the world meet and compete. FIRST LEGO League Challenge event timelines and registration process vary by region.
This app is a collection of visualizations based on the Lego data available at Rebrickable 2. They address the question: What is it like to live in the Lego world? That is, what kinds of people do you meet? How are they feeling? What plants and animals do you find around you? Think of each theme as an island on the Lego planet. Each visualization can be faceted by theme, so you can compare fashion, flora and fauna, etc. across themes. The human focus of this app distinguishes it from the various other Lego visualizations that already exist (including one built in Shiny; see About in the app for a fuller list).
Unfortunately, my other immediate impression was that it is kind of ugly. I was expecting a more traditional world map, with water represented as shades of blue, and land masses represented using white for snow, dark green for forests, light greens for grasslands, and light or dark tan for deserts.

Played on PS4 and it wasn't great, story mode is tedious and the building isn't even close to Minecrafts league. Speaking of which, in a world where Minecraft exists and is 5 cheaper, why would you buy this?
I feel like this is gonna become more of a guilty pleasure kind of game for people who like making stuff. I agree with everything in this review and I really wish it wasn't as buggy and performed better. However, I did enjoy recreating SNES Rainbow Road in the sky of one of the worlds I generated and driving random vehicles on it, something Minecraft doesn't have.
Terrible... I never will understand why game companies Bring Out Half Baked games and then wonder why they get such a bad reception it would be better to delay it a year and not tarnish the Lego worlds franchise then to release it like this, I was really excited about this game now I am just like stunned at how bad it sounds to be.
I spawned a wonderful world in Adventure mode featuring Hell with volcanos, swamp and jungle, ice and a fantasy world. I couldn't stop playing for a couple of hours so the game helpfully decided to stop playing for me.

There are 5 worlds with 12 missions on each world. When you complete a mission, usually one or two more unlock, though there are a few exceptions. When you are able to play a mission, it appears with a question mark over it. Once you conquer it, the question mark is replaced by a flag. Completing the bonus goal will cause this flag to have a star on it. As you progress through a world, more and more friendly units appear on that world's map, moving around. This is a purely cosmetic effect.
All the worlds have a sky background. World 1's is day, World 2's is the evening and World 3's is night. The Prehistoric World has a background consisting of many tall earth pillars with swamp at the top, and the Ocean World has a half-sky half-ocean background.
Families can talk about the imaginative worlds kids can explore in Lego Duplo World. Engage kids to tell stories about what they're doing and the characters they're playing with. Which worlds do they like the best and why? Read the parents' section for some great suggestions.
The group broke two world records: one for the fastest assembly of 10,000 Legos, the other for the longest chain. The effort was documented by video footage, including aerial shots from a drone, and will be submitted to Guinness World Records for certification.
The group smashed the first world record with no problem, connecting 10,000 Lego links in three hours (the old record was eight). The longest-chain record, which stood at 902 meters, proved more elusive. By midafternoon, the original Lego supply had been exhausted. It required reinforcements from Play-Well TEKnologies, an organization that teaches kids engineering with Legos, which donated $65,000 worth of Legos for the event.

LEGO Worlds is an open-world crafting game, similar to Minecraft, that was added to Xbox's Game Pass back in September. The main currency in the game is called "studs." They are the iconic, round, one-by-one bricks that have been used as gold coins in LEGO sets for decades. Luckily for those just trying to complete the Xbox Game Pass Quests for those Microsoft points, grabbing a bunch of them in LEGO Worlds is pretty easy. 041b061a72
