On November 17, 2014, TV Land announced that this season would be the final season of Hot in Cleveland.[4] The series concluded June 3, 2015, after six seasons and 128 episodes. The two-part series finale ("Vegas Baby"; "I Hate Goodbyes") aired as an hour-long episode.

On May 1, 2014, TV Land renewed Hot in Cleveland for a sixth season.[5] Taping for season six began on September 19, 2014,[6] and concluded on April 2, 2015.[7] On November 17, 2014, TV Land announced that season six would be the final season.[4] Guest stars for this season include: Ernie Hudson as one of Victoria's ex-husbands who helps her come to terms with their once embarrassing legacy, Andrew J. West as a young man that hits on Melanie, Timm Sharp as the producer of Victoria's new TV show, and Robert Wagner as Jim, a new man in Elka's life. Mario Lopez also made an appearance as himself. Sophie Winkleman guest stars as Joy's sister, Jill. Returning guest stars for the sixth season include Georgia Engel, Craig Ferguson, Dave Foley, Michael McMillian, Will Sasso, Brian Baumgartner, Chris Colfer and Carol Burnett. Rhys Darby also recurred this season as Jack, a new neighbor and Melanie's brief love interest. Billy Baldwin appears in a story arc as Dane Stevens, a reporter who becomes attracted to Melanie. Stacy Keach plays Victoria's father Alex in two episodes. Missi Pyle also appears in two episodes as "Canadian Joy", Bob's lover from his home country whom he almost marries. Ben Vereen appears as the Mayor of Cleveland. Kelen Coleman portrays Andi, Owen's bride-to-be, while George Takei makes an appearance as the priest for their ceremony. Bob Newhart and Thomas Gibson guest-starred in the series finale, while Huey Lewis reprised his role as Johnny Revere in this same episode.

Bertinelli and her co-stars were certainly enjoying making the show. White even told Oprah Winfrey that playing Elka was one of her favorite roles of all time. Fans were enjoying the series, too. Series creator, Suzanne Martin, was on board to write plenty more. Just three months before the cancelation was announced, Martin told The Hollywood Reporter that she would have liked to craft eight seasons. So, why did TV Land cancel the successful sitcom?

The Cubs have shown their ability to fight back and successfully come back all season. It might not seem like that because of their 103-win season and their predicted success, but this is a hard-nosed team.

Cleveland is about to join the lottery for the fourth time in a row, failing to make the playoffs in the soft Eastern Conference even after making a midseason trade for Luol Deng, who will become a free agent.

4. Bulls (7): The remarkable Bulls continue to churn through the East, positioned to steal the No. 3 seed in the conference despite dealing away Luol Deng and being without Derrick Rose almost all season.

Unaware of how hot the free-swinging Indians had been, the Royals left-hander calmly carried a shutout into the eighth inning Tuesday night. Meanwhile, the Kansas City offense hit a season-best three home runs in a 9-5 victory to open their two-game series.

Eric Hosmer hit a two-run shot and also drove in a run during a four-run fourth inning. Alex Gordon went deep in the eighth and Mike Moustakas added a two-run shot later that inning as the Royals (32-32) moved back to .500 by matching their second-best run total of the season.

Hosmer homered in the fifth, his third of the season, and Kluber was yanked after the inning. It was a marked contrast to his last outing against Kansas City, when the right-hander tossed his first career complete game in a 5-1 victory on April 24.

The Tigers have lost all nine games they have played in the state of Ohio this season. Detroit was swept in a four-game series at Progressive Field in April. The Tigers lost both games in Cincinnati this week before heading north. The Tigers return to Cleveland in September.

Kelly Olynyk scored 17 points, Tyler Herro had 15 and Duncan Robinson added 14 for Miami, which won for the 11th time in its last 12 games. But this win was unlike most others for the Heat this season, in that it was only the third in which Miami held a double-digit lead for the entire fourth quarter.

Larry Nance Jr. scored 14, Darius Garland had 11 and Isaac Okoro added 10 for the Cavaliers, who were held below 100 points for the NBA-leading 17th time this season. The Cavs were just 10 for 35 from 3-point range, 2 for 18 in the first half.

Inconsistency on both sides of the ball has been a season-long issue for the Browns. After their first three losses were decided by a combined margin of six points, two of their past three have been routs, including a 39-17 loss at Miami.

The win, which was also sparked by Asdrubal Cabrera's two-run homer in the first, moved the Indians (36-35) over the .500 mark. Although Santana is hitting .191 for the season, he's batting .333 (13 for 39) with three homers and nine RBIs in June.

Rian Pearson (Raytown, Mo.) topped the Phoenix with 14points, establishing a new career high. Randy Berry (11 points, 11 rebounds)posted his seventh double-double of the season. CSU's Norris Cole led allscorers with 22.

March 23, 2001Box ScoreMARIETTA, Ga. - The Terrapin softball squad continued to get it done at the plate in Game 2 of pool play at the Buzz Classic, collecting eight hits to down Cleveland State, 6-0. Led by sophomore Jillian Callaway's (Brandywine, Md.) 3-for-4, two-run, two-RBI effort, Maryland collected eight base hits to bring its single-day total to 18. The Terps have outscored opponents 14-1 in two pool play victories at the ninth-annual Georgia Tech Buzz Classic.Freshman hurler Monica Cyphert (Warren, Ohio) fanned four Vikings in the win, going the full seven innings and even adding a single to help her own cause. The strong showing evens the newcomer's record at 5-5 on the season. The Terps were first to crack the scoreboard in the top of the second, capitalizing on two Cleveland State errors. Freshman Casey Leiter (Lake Stevens, Wash.) reached on an error and went on to score on a Viking miscue, while a base hit by senior Annmarie Browne (Lansdale, Pa.) to the shortstop crossed junior Danielle Carpenter (Mt. Laurel, N.J.). Maryland picked up another run in the sixth to take a 3-0 advantage. After Callaway led off with a double to right center, the energetic sophomore scampered to third on a groundout and came around to score on a misplayed bouncer by the Viking shortstop.Things got worse for Cleveland State in the seventh. The ACC's leader in bases-on-balls, senior Jennifer Potzman (Trexlertown, Pa.), drew a walk to lead off. A two-out free pass to Radford brought the hot-hitting Callaway to the dish, and the infielder drove both baserunners home with another two-bagger to right.Callaway's effort capped a 3-for-7, three-run, two-RBI performance day one total. Her base hit and RBI total are both career-highs as six Terrapins enjoyed multi-hit days. Cyphert went 4-for-8 (.500) in addition to her Game 2 pitching decision. The Terps are back in action in pool play on Saturday. Games against Princeton and Connecticut are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the Buzz Classic rolls on. Championship bracket play begins Saturday evening after seeds are set following the 5 p.m. games.Contact: Mark Fratto301-314-7064 (phone)301-314-9094 (fax) 301-314-TERP (FanFone)fratto@wam.umd.eduPrint Friendly Version var obj = "start":0,"count":10,"name":"story-template-boilerplate","sport_id":null,"count_breakpoints":null,"css_class":"","pinned_id":"","extra":,"context":null,"dummy":false,"type":"ads","id":"afb65e7d-bfa0-45d6-85d0-d6ef9db4984d","data":"location":"id":0,"title":null,"type":null,"effect":null,"fixed_image_sizes":false,"excluded_sport_ids":null,"slick":false,"dfp":false,"sidearm_dfp":false,"common_page":false,"html_template":null,"name":null,"autoplay_speed":0,"accessibility_icons":false,"sizes":null,"slick_options":null,"dfp_sizes":null,"campaigns":[],"content_id":null,"content_title":null,"content_date":null,"content_url":null,"content_image_url":null,"mode":"web"; if (!("sidearmComponents" in window)) window.sidearmComponents = []; window.sidearmComponents.push(obj); Related Story Content var obj = "start":0,"count":10,"name":"story-template-general-1-1","sport_id":null,"count_breakpoints":null,"css_class":"","pinned_id":"","extra":,"context":null,"dummy":false,"type":"ads","id":"84fcd43c-e487-4422-ab6c-9609f4684015","data":"location":"id":0,"title":null,"type":null,"effect":null,"fixed_image_sizes":false,"excluded_sport_ids":null,"slick":false,"dfp":false,"sidearm_dfp":false,"common_page":false,"html_template":null,"name":null,"autoplay_speed":0,"accessibility_icons":false,"sizes":null,"slick_options":null,"dfp_sizes":null,"campaigns":[],"content_id":null,"content_title":null,"content_date":null,"content_url":null,"content_image_url":null,"mode":"web"; if (!("sidearmComponents" in window)) window.sidearmComponents = []; window.sidearmComponents.push(obj); Story Links Related Videos Now Playing: Play Video

James Harden produced 18 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists leading the Rockets to a win over the Hawks on Sunday. Harden became the seventh different player to produce a triple-double against the Hawks this season, joining Blake Griffin, Nikola Vucevic, Nicolas Batum (twice), LeBron James, Elfrid Peyton and Russell Westbrook. That ties the highest total in a single season in NBA history. Three other teams had seven different players register a triple-double against them: the 1970-71 Trail Blazers, 2000-01 Warriors and 2013-14 76ers. 041b061a72
