Fix Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 (Gig+) Wireless Connectivity Issues with Updated Drivers

The 6GHz-ready software driver you'll find here is one that was once available briefly for Windows 10 before it was pulled permanently -- it's the pilot driver originally intended for the OS before Microsoft changed its mind. I extracted it and recompiled it as a manual download.

Generally, it's a good idea to download the software (step 1) before installing the hardware on your computer. But this post assumed that you had gotten the AX210 adapter already running with an official driver.

Finally, Windows and Intel will keep releasing newer driver versions that still don't support the 6GHz band on Windows 10. If you install one of these versions, you will lose the 6GHz band. In this case, roll the driver back to the version you downloaded here -- via the Roll Back Driver button shown in the screenshot of step #4 above -- or re-install it as described in the extra steps.

Bringing back up an old topic. i recently bought a Linksys Hydra router that supports wifi 6e. Samsung Galaxy Ultra 22 and my Samsung galaxy Tab 8+ can both connect to the 6 Ghz band. After resetting the network, reinstalling the driver 50 times, firmware updates, I found that it's much more simple. the 2.45.1.1 driver version is the only driver that has support for Wi-Fi 6e/6Ghz band. The driver versions after that all have the functionality REMOVED. Even if you allow the driver update from Samsung, it's not a modified driver and simply installs the Microsoft driver and breaks wi-fi 6e. Uninstall the new versions, then rescan for hardware changes until you get to the oldest version, then install the ver 2.45.1.1. It seems Microsoft wants to migrate everyone to Windows 11, but it's been so buggy for me on my desktop that I won't until it's improved significantly. Hope this helps someone.
